As another fantastic year of music-making draws to a close, we are excited to invite family, friends, and music lovers to our Shine Music School Concert Series 2026.
These concerts are one of the highlights of the Shine calendar, bringing together students, teachers, families, and supporters to celebrate the hard work, creativity, and progress of our musical community throughout the year.

More Than Just a Performance
At Shine Music School, we believe that performing is an essential part of musical development. Our annual concerts provide students with a valuable opportunity to experience playing in front of a live audience, helping them build confidence, develop stage presence, and learn how to manage performance nerves in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Having a concert date to work towards also gives students a clear goal and motivation throughout the year. Preparing for a performance teaches important skills such as commitment, focus, preparation, and teamwork – qualities that extend far beyond music itself.
Showcasing a Year of Progress
The concerts are a chance for students to share the music they have been working on throughout the school year. From beginner performers taking their first steps onto the stage to advanced musicians presenting more challenging repertoire, each performance reflects months of dedication, practice, and growth.
Our Combo Concert will feature ensemble performances, highlighting the excitement and collaboration that comes from making music together. The Beginners Concert celebrates students who are starting their musical journey, while the Advanced Concert showcases the talent, musicianship, and achievements of our more experienced performers.
A Celebration of the Shine Community
Perhaps most importantly, these events bring together the entire Shine community. Students have the opportunity to support one another, families can celebrate their children’s achievements, and teachers can witness the results of a year’s hard work and dedication.
We are incredibly proud of all our students and grateful for the commitment of our Shine teaching staff, whose passion and expertise help make these musical journeys possible. Their guidance, encouragement, and support play a vital role in every student’s progress.
We look forward to celebrating with you at La Violeta and sharing an inspiring series of performances that showcase the talent, effort, and enthusiasm that make Shine Music School such a special community.
As promised we will be hosting our second online concert this year! 2020 has been one for the record books and we invite you back again to enjoy a repeat of our successful first ever online concert!
On the 19th of December we will be streaming a collection of work from many of our students live. Students from both our Barcelona and South Africa music schools will be coming together with our online students to perform in an extended music festival. The show will begin at 16.00h CET and is expected to go on for 3 or 4 hours! So sit back, relax, and tune in to an evening filled with music!
As the school year winds down in Spain, and the temperatures in Barcelona rise, everyone prepares for the summer vacation. Music exams are furiously studied for and students practice for the annual music concert which takes place at the end of the year. It’s an exciting occasion and one that the Estudio Shine family look forward to each year. Students invite friends and family to come and enjoy all the musical pieces and the day is filled with a fun musical energy. Each year some of our teachers perform too, in an anticipated finale!
Concerts are usually in two parts, with a principiantes show and and avanzados concert, however you are welcome to attend both!
It’s a chance for students to show off their accomplishments from the year and also an opportunity to perform in front of a crowd, which is an important learning curve for students, and an extra skill!
Our concerts are advertised on facebook and our instagram pages, and we make announcements to students via email and at the school before the due dates.

Our much anticipated annual Estudio Shine student concert is Tomorrow!
The concert will take place on Saturday 13th of June at Bar Lliure, in Teatre Lliure (c/ Montseny, 47, Barcelona, very close to Estudio Shine – Map ).
We believe that the concert is a great chance to share the work you have been doing during the year with your relatives, teachers, friends and colleagues. Furthermore, this is an opportunity to experience the feeling of accomplishment of playing in front of an audience!
The concert will be split into two, with a pause in between for lunch. From 12noon until 1:30pm we will have the concert for our youngest students and then, at 3pm a concert for our adult students. In any case, you are welcome to attend both of them, even if you or your children are not playing. Students who play should come before the concert starts.
