Gabrielle Cortinovis teaches Classical Guitar, Flamenco Guitar, Contemporary Guitar encompassing Jazz & Blues Guitar, Electric Guitar (Pop&Rock/Heavy) and Acoustic Guitar (Folk) at the Shine School of Music.
His passion for music will lead Gabrielle to study in Jerez de la Frontera with renowned teachers such as Manuel Valencia, Augustin de la Fuente, Antonio Rey and “El Carbonero” in 2012. The following year he enters the Cristina Hereen Foundation where he obtains a scholarship for his merits to continue his training with guitarists such as Niño de Pura, Paco Cortés, Pedro Sierra and Rafael Riqueni. After successfully completing his studies at the Foundation, he dedicates to traditional flamenco accompanying dance and singing in numerous stages in Spain and Europe. He works as a guitarist at Peña Flamenca la Fragua in Bellavista (Seville) and accompanies flamenco dancing classes with teachers such as Carmen Ledesma, Juana Amaya and José Galván. It is Jose Galván who inspires him to give his first steps in the Seville scenarios. He also plays outside Seville; At the University of Oviedo for the Leonard Cohen cathedra, in several tablaos on the Costa Blanca (Alicante), in Baeza in the auditorium The ruins of San Francisco, in Amsterdam and in Tilburg (Holland). Nowadays he lives in Barcelona where he is a flamenco guitarist and teacher. He is also working on a musical project with the singer Daniela Manzoni. This duo named Rayuela, has several collaborations with folklore musicians and aims to mix the harmony of flamenco music with other traditional music from different regions of Europe and Latin America.
